Welcome to the new, revised and even better Free Church Forum!   We closed the last one down because it had become too big, wearisome and required more ‘moderation’.  The new format is quite simple.  You register as a member if you wish to post something.  You then send a post which will be picked up by one of the moderators who will then decide whether to post it or not.  It works more like a newspaper letter than a completely open forum.  The criteria for what is posted will not be that we agree with you, or even that we know and like you (or vice versa!).  Please note that we will not normally allow anonymous contributions.  It would be helpful if you could register using your proper name.  In exceptional circumstances if you request anonymity for good reasons it will of course be granted.

We want to encourage contributions from a wide range of people including those outside the Church and those outside the Christian faith.  We are aiming for the forum to be useful for many different people therefore we will try to keep threads on topic and we will not allow repeated threads about relatively minor issues.   The first set of threads will be connected with David Robertson’s ‘Today’s Issues’ column.  In time we hope that other areas of the church will use the Message Board as a facility to encourage discussion, debate and prayer.   If you have any ideas for improvement or issues then please feel free to contact one of the moderators.
